The documentation doesn't say there is a limit argument. This is a bit of an oversight on the side of the API designer so you might want to email him and see if he's willing to add a limit argument for you.

You can't just add extra arguments to your request and expect them to work though.

Your syntax was also wrong, even if there was an undocumented limit argument it would not work with your syntax:

url : 'http://www.deanclatworthy.com/imdb/?year=1996&LIMIT 10'

Would need to be:

Code:

url : 'http://www.deanclatworthy.com/imdb/?year=1996&limit=10'

Need a bit more information before this could be diagnosed. I checked out the OP's website and it seems to still have some text spacing issues but given the time that has elapsed since the OP it may be a different issue.

I never tried this myself yet, always made full Flash sites. Easiest way is to duplicate everything for every video you want and use unique id's. Not the cleanest way probably though

I thought you made your own audio player, but this looks like you're using the standard player from Adobe?

Otherwise it might be easier to use the JW player which also has a HTML5 fallback in case users don't have Flash; http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/

Hey guys, I need both help but mostly advice on which direction I should go with this. My wife and I have so many videos we've taken of the little ones. She wants to share it with family no matter where they are hence the webpage for videos.

We are looking to put five videos per page including title and paragraph underneath each video. Now the majority of family are always on the go so she wants her sisters, cousins etc... to access the site on the go.

My friend was on leave and helped me with this code which he wrote, he left this morning back overseas where he's stationed, so I can't call him at the moment. I don't know when I can cause he's always in the field.

Anyway, this is what he wrote and it works well however I just don't see where the "Title or Paragraph would go:

A few problems with this code, it doesn't show the image in firefox or ie but they all show up on macs, ipodtouch, ipad and iphone. In ie there is no spacing between videos however all of the videos play in safari, firefox and ie. As I mentioned previously, my friend wrote this and is no longer accessible so should I abandoned this or can I find the answer out on my own. If so can you point me in the right direction?

I was thinking about going with this which I struggled with but its coming along:

Its smaller, not in the <head> tag and I can put the title and paragraph in easily however I ran into some problems with this code as well. It doesn't show up in ie at all, no video, player or image however it plays and displays the image in both firefox and safari as well as on the ipod touch. Not sure whats wrong but any advice is welcomed.

I want to thank Shriek for helping me out with an audio problem I was having. I know I asked a lot of questions so any help with any part of it is greatly appreciated.
