Yes... so we've seen a few revisitors come through the forum again.

1. Is it possible to upgrade this forum and get the engine updated to reduce the spam

2. Remind folks who have usernames that it still exists?

I dunno, but without sp... my skillz would be less.

It is the quick question on process followed up by another members blurb and a png attachment that would send me into a more successful design direction.

for diagrams I use omni outliner... mind sharing what you are using now? That might give us a better understanding of what exactly you are trying to brush up ;)
I feel that generally such tools lack good design... so it's hard to find something nice.

jep, sure looks like a hard 90 degrees shadow... as well as bevel or inner soft shadow at the bottom...

I would like to jazz up my diagram architectural flows + app design interface legends. UI shown with callouts to elements.

Have you seen any cool examples that you can share.

Want to be inspired by some examples.

Not sure if it will or won't. technology moving at such a rapid place will make forums like this obsolete. The biggest thing we had/have going for us is the people and the community itself.

Hi Friends & pros i just found a nice design and i really impressed with the way they designed this.Please see the red arrows.Is it shadow effect ? with angle 90 degrees? Any help will be highly appreciated.Its really cool and helpful to all of us.Friendsand Experts please help us. Thanks in advance.

PS: Also i think they might have used bevel and Emboss in there ??

sweet i still remember my username/password. i do miss the place and dqs (though i have no idea what happened there with the drama. website doesn't even exist anymore.) Would be cool to see this place came back to life.

it's quite a strange thing this rise and fall of boards.
